Easter Carolina Wilmington Day Outing Saturday, May 18th or Overnight
Sunrise, Spring Flowers in the Gardens, Fort Fisher, and Sunsets at Carolina Beach!
Come explore Wilmington for the day on Saturday or stay overnight on your own and get up for sunrise and more adventures on Sunday.
We are listing times for all locations so feel free to join us for sunrise or at anytime throughout the day. Please RSVP what time and where you will be joining us so we know when to be on the lookout for you.
Sunrise at Crystal Pier and shorebirds 5:30 am – 8:00 am
The sunrise will be at 6:03 am. We will be shooting sunrise and then head down the beach to photography shoreline and nesting birds.

Arlie Gardens 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Come explore beautiful Arlie Gardens, look for the famous fox, and practice your macro and flower photography in the garden.

Explore and photograph what is seasonally in bloom at the arboretum.

This weekend in Wilmington May 18-19, 2019 will be a trial run for the 2020 CNPA Photo Weekend that the Eastern Carolina Region will be hosting. We are going to explore some natural areas to include our field trips and hopefully meet some of our Wilmington members who can’t make the trip to our monthly meetings in Greenville. Karl is our chairman for 2020 Photo Weekend and planning places to visit on our upcoming 2019 May weekend. Come and help for a day or all weekend.
Several of us are staying at Beau Rivage Golf and Resort on 649 Rivage Promenade Wilmington, NC on the 18th as most of hotels were booked when we looked for hotels.
